San Francisco Bay Guardian Best of the Bay Bands to Perform
in San Francisco
Best of the Bay Singer Songwriter and Best of the Bay
Indie Band Runner-up to perform on Saturday, November
8, 2008 at Rockit Room in San Francisco

Francisco, CA - November 6, 2008 - Two of the Bay
Area's Best of the Bay bands, as voted by readers of the
San Francisco Bay Guardian, will share the stage on Saturday,
November 8, 2008 as part of the upcoming event "Singer
Songwriter Plugged." The event features some of the
Bay Area's best singer songwriters backed by their full
bands. Curt Yagi, voted Best of the Bay Singer Songwriter,
will headline and will be accompanied by his band "Curt
Yagi & The People Standing Behind Me." Best of
the Bay Indie Band Runner-up Making Dinner Band featuring
Eva Jo Meyers will also perform.
"I
am excited to perform with so many great bands and think
it will be one of the better shows I've played in",
says Curt Yagi. "I am elated to be joined by so many
talented people." Also scheduled to perform are the
Jake Morgan Band and Dave Shear & Useless Desires.
"Singer
Songwriter Plugged" will take place on Saturday,
November 8, 2008 at Rockit Room (406 Clement St, San Francisco)

Curt Yagi
Recently voted the 2008 Best of the Bay Singer Songwriter
by the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Curt Yagi is causing
a stir in the Bay Area and has played at various venues
including Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the Herbst Theater
and The Fillmore. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass,
piano) in various bands, Curt decided to take a lead role
in music and currently performs with his band throughout
